Academy staff-guided tours are available by appointment to the general public, students, scouts, law enforcement, etc. We welcome school groups! A private, guided tour is available upon request.

The museum is housed within the Virginia State Police Academy, located in the back of the secure campus of the Virginia State Police Administrative Headquarters at 7700 Midlothian Turnpike (US Route 60) in Chesterfield County.
